In this lesson I use Tchaikovsky's theme from his "Nutcracker March" as a simple, single note melody.

This lesson starts with an explanation of the approach I am using to extract the single note melodic theme from what was originally an orchestral ballet piece. I am playing the complete melody which has two basic sections. Note that we are using four adjacent strings in this lesson. Note that this melody is very active!
