In this lesson we are going to play minor 7th chord shapes rooted on the D string.

Place your index finger first on the seventh fret of the D string. Then your middle finger on the eighth fret of the high E string, your middle finger on the eighth fret of the B string and your pinky finger on the ninth fret of the G string. Alternately, you can use your middle finger in a barring manner across the eighth fret B & E strings.
