Using a similar slap approach, this example employs Dropped D tuning along with a challenging left hand hammer-on technique. This technique is similar to the playing of Kaki King, minus the percussion playing on the sides of the guitar. Played in the key of D, this progression employs both open string use and harmonics, as well as strong right hand rhythm techniques which are provided for advanced soloists. The piece has a strong groove and demonstrates how to allow the acoustic to sound like a guitar, bass, and drums all at the same time.
