I've been picking and plucking at the guitar for far to long to not be any better than I am. I'm closing in on 57 years old and have decided that I'm going to do it right this time! I've scanned through GF1 and GF2 and seemed fairly simple but like I said I'm going to do it right...one step at a time, chapter by chapter. Looking forward to actually learning to play correctly.

This trying to get my left hand and right hand to work together is driving me crazy!

Howdy back, snpfarm. I live in PA now but spent most of my adult life in Atlanta and Athens, GA.

Of course I perversely *left* Athens and only *then* decided to take up the guitar . . .

Welcome!

Glad to know you were able to sail through Fundamentals 1 and 2 without much trouble.

And, in that process, I hope you may have picked up a few pearls of wisdom you might not have known before, which will only help your overall understanding and skills on the guitar.

I wish you the best of luck as you 'do it right this time', and learn to play the music you LOVE!

All best wishes, Lisa

Hello from North Carolina.....I never played an instument until 6 years ago when I had double knee replacement surgery at the age of 61. I am still in the early intermediate stage as an old dog learns new tricks very slowly. Keep up with Lisa's beginner courses and you will make good progress faster than you think. Just keep plugging away!
