I have just joined Guitar Tricks. I am excited. I am a total beginner and 55 years old. I want to learn to play desperately. Somehow I have this believe that I am not very gifted musically...Nobody plays instruments in my family. But I will give it my all!!
Can I ask you a question right from the start? Exercising the spiderwalk with only 3 fingers I feel my wrist cramped from the strange position it is in when I try not to touch the neighbouring strings. And struggeling to place my fingers in the right spot.....is this normal? I have started only 3 days ago but tro struggle so much in the first excercise!? Is that commen?
