I'm Jay. I first tried guitar in 2006. I bought a Squire Standard Strat and took lessons for a couple of months. I had been playing a move across country and ended up moving earlier than I expected. After the move I didn't play again until 2008. Again it was only for a couple of months. My guitar instructor relocated and I didn't pursue it any further.
I've recently found myself with a lot of free time. I bet many of us have. :) I've decided to give guitar another try. I had been fumbling around with RockSmith and YouTube most of June. I found Guitar Tricks just before July. I really like its structure and I'm practicing every day.
I feel like I've gotten ever so slightly better and my spirits are high. I'm looking forward to my progress and would love to read about your journeys with guitar as well.
