You might want to go through the Core Learning System to get a solid foundation.

Do GF 1 & 2, then pick a style. :)

These tutorials will show you the diatonic scales & how to use the pentatonic boxes as a tool to view & play them.

Major Scale Patterns & Positions

Minor Scale Patterns & Positions

If you are just wondering how to get past pentatonic, then have a look at these lessons that use the pentatonic scale but add in diatonic notes for more flavor.

Major Notes In Minor Pentatonic Series 2

Major Notes In Minor Pentatonic Series 3

Major Notes In Minor Pentatonic Series 4

Give those a try. If you want something else, please ask! Have fun. :)

One trick that i learned which got me a bit further out of the box was to mix major and minor pentatonics in songs that are compatible. Basically you could be playing in A minor penta and then mix in 3 frets down the same pattern but it has now shifted to major. So, for example i might be playing in pattern 1 (E pattern), than shift down playing pattern 5(G pattern), but then slip into pattern one there also wihch is just the A major pentatonic. It sounds pretty cool and mixes it up. Does not work in all songs however.
