I am an begginner who has a epiphone les paul electric that I purchased in Feb of this yr, love it. I am in my 50's and I have an old Yamaha Eterna acoustic from the 1980s I still have after all these decades, how I dont know. I dug it out and replaced the strings and measured the action at the 12th fret a whoppin 5/16" . I cranked the truss rod from 10 to 2 oclock 2x and have let it set a few days and I have not remeasured it . Is this going to need bridge and saddle work done or can I keep cranking the truss rod to get it down to a playable height ?
