Peavey Windsor Studio 1x12 Combo - PRSPlaya

Peavey just does not stop! At the 2007 Winter NAMM, Peavey introduced the all new Windsor Studio 1x12 all tube combo. The Windsor was first introduced as a 120 watt single channel head. The new Windsor Studio will be a class-A 15 watt tube combo. It will have a single channel with a footswitchable boost which can be used as either a volume boost, or to add more overdrive. There will be a pre-volume, master volume, 3 band EQ, true spring reverb, and a footswitchable effects loop. Two of it's most unique features are a microphone simulated XLR direct out for plugging straight into your recording gear or PA for live use, and the ability to use several different types of power tubes for a wide range of big, fat, and juicy tube tones. It will come stock with two 12AX7 preamp tubes, and an EL34 power tube, but will also use 6L6GC, 6550, 6CA7, KT88, KT66, KT77, KT90, KT100 or any variation on these types. According to Peavey, the amp will be available in the second quarter of 2007, with a MSRP of $499 USD (street price should be a bit lower though).

As usual, Peavey never ceases to amaze me. This is one amp that I am definitely anxious to try out! Here's the link to Peavey's article. http://www.peavey.com/news/article....35/20071801.cfm
