I haven't had a wah for years. But I got that wah itch. I need to get one. What kind is good? Horsie? Crybaby?

Crybabies are very good I recommend the crybaby q zoneĀ® you can change the wah from a short pericing wah or a long drawn out wah. It's very sweet.

I have a regular old Crybaby, and its great. But they are really common. Vox is a little edgier, but the best I've heard is the Morley Steve Vai Bad Horsie Wah. It eliminates the akward footswitch by turning it on when you depress the pedal as normal, though its very easy to turn iff off. Look into the unheard of brands. Sometimes there is some really cool stuff just outside the spotlight.

I'm using the Digitech XP-100 and it's working pretty good for me. It has 7 different wah effects, and then some ocatave/whammy stuff that's fun also. It's also got some harmonizers, but I don't use them too much.

I still haven't got the wah I was looking for. I liked the digitech XP-100. It has several good wah settings and also does some weird things.

I didn't like the bad horsie all that much.
I would prefer an adjustable wah. Though, mechanically the bad horsie is a really solid and clean mechanism. It just didn't do a good funky wah, IMHO.

So, now I will try to find the digitech at a good price.
