Ideas for Effects

I love flange, too. But I think it would be better if you are new at effects to get a multieffects that has delay, flange, reverb, chorus, and wah. Even if you got a cheap one that wasn't too versatile, it would help you find out which effects are good for your style.

I've been playing to about a year and I
Want to buy some effects like pedals or
mulit effects but I dont know what i should buy. I play mainly rock and metal I just need
some ideas.

I would buy a flanger pedal. They are cool sounding and not as much used in rock as the WahWah-pedal.

I've recommended the Zoom 505 to many people. It runs about $100 and has all the chorus, flange, autowah, distortions, and phase shifters. I've used it for about 2 years, but i'm now trying to go away from the multi-effects and looking more at individual pedals. While you have a lot of cool effects for a low cost with the M-E, I feel that you can get a more personalized sound with the individual pedals.
