Well Catherine has finally decided that the bass is not for her so we are selling:

Squire Affinity P-Bass (Black with RW fret board)
gigbag, strap, lead and fender video.) + Squire hard case (160 USD + shipping)

Squire Bass Amp BP15 (60USD + shipping)

Bass POD (w/ box manual etc)(200USD + shipping)

All of the above are in mint condition and have never gigged, kept in a smoke free environment etc. If you are interested in any / all of the above, email me and we can strike a deal.

This kit is not on eBay yet. It will be posted next week, so if you are interested give me a bell.

If it wasn't for the damned duty charges to ship the bass to Canada I'd be striking up a deal with ya. I've got $165 wasting away in my paypal account & been bidding on eBay for a month now.

What’s the deal on the duty business does it apply to second hand kit? I thought the US and Canada were all friendly!

That just means that the Customs & Revenuers smile as they take their cut!

I didn't realize about the duty either till I bought a CDRW off eBay. UPS showed up at my door with it & charged me $45 and I only paid $90 for the thing in the first place.

Most of that was UPS brokerage fees. If you get something sent via USPS, it gets handed off to Canada Post. They 'only' charge about $5 on top of the duty.

tell me about customs charges! I broke up with my american girlfriend, so she mailed a bunch of clothes back, it cost me £130 in duty to get my OWN clothes back, then we get back together, so I pay roughly the same to mail the boxes back, with around 60 CD's added. Then I fly out there, she dumps me the day after I arrive, I pay $200 to send the boxes BACK again, and I beat them home, I had to pay another £70 just to get my own stuff back! then the bitch expects me to pay for my plane ticket.....

so yeah... customs, what a bugger

Just thought I'd share, this thread has nothing to do with guitars, except that I managed to afford a PRS singlecut with the money I got from the breakup....
