your metronome SUCKS

love this site, love the lessons but the one thing I can't get over is how BAD your metronome is. I didnt pay nearly 200$ to practice to an out of time metronome. please fix it. Im surprised that something so simple to fix is just left buggy

Just coming into this, its funny how mad you seem about this, I can't really help with this except for recommending you try a jam track on youtube.

lol tried it years ago and indeed it sucks...

Many things do not work here...

1. spell checker

2. video quality option (it keeps changing)

3. picture uploader

just to name a few... Hopefully they will get around to it...

If you are on IOS or Android I like justinGuitar's TimeTrainer Metronome app. It has a lot of really nice features. One of my favorite things is I can set it to start at a certain pace and gradually speed up. So I might set it to start at 60 BPM for 15 minutes, and gradually speed up to 75BPM during the 15 minutes. That exercise is helping me improve chord changes. It has lots of other features and it is less than $5 USD.

You mention that the Metronome on GT doesn't keep time accurately. That sounds like it has to be network latency to me. I can't imagine the metronome really being inaccurate otherwise.
