I am SO HAPPY. Roughly 2 weeks in and sure enough the fingers are tougher and I played actual songs tonight. I am playing it smart and sticking to 15 minutes practice so that I can play more tomorrow! That Am is kicking my butt though lol. I am so proud of myself!

Way to go! I overplayed when I started out and had such sore fingers that I had to use everything inluding sensitive toothpaste on them (not fun!) Very smart of you to shorten the practice time. It is such a good feeling when you start to play "real stuff". Keep it up, it will just keep getting better from here on out. :)
