I have tried other sites but what I really enjoy about Guitar Tricks is the performance and jam along features
So far I have only played the songs in guitar fundamentals 1 and 2 but it really helps my practice . I have tried sites that use GPX or midi but it gets boring really quick . The scroll feature helps a lot to make sure I play the right chords .
One interesting thing Woman by John Lennon does not autoscroll . I memorized the song and then used the jam along feature . I found myself tuning into the band for cues when to change chords Although it is a beginner version I have a feeling of accomplishment playing along with the band by memory I have only been using guitar tricks since the end of April but I have made remarkable progress
