Music is a powerful thing. It's something I think we all take for granted, just how much music influences us and those around us. I mean, I know personally, certain songs make me want to cry, others make me want to go and beat the wall 'til my either it breaks or my fist does, (never gone through with that yet, fortunately!) Yet, how often do we think about that stuff? And how often do we think about what would happen if we didn't have it? Pretty much what the whole thread is about, sort of. It's a disturbing thought really, isn't it? That the things we love (not only music) can be lost so easily if a powerful, opressive group came into the balance of power. Life's such a delicate little thing, isn't?
