Just in the past few days, ive had this craze for how cool the arpeggio scales sound. As of now I am working my fingers sore to try and practice some scales that other people have made (like the final fantasy song which is really cool by the way) and I've leaned only one scale itself, which is in A. I have a few questions that I would just love to have awnsered:

1) What is an arpeggio?
2) How do I figure them out for myself?
3) if it just a memory thing, scatch question 2, where can I find a page with all the different arpeggio scales?
4) is there more than one way to play an arpeggio in the same key?
5) isnt 4 enough?

thanks,
peace out, play on.

1) An arpeggio is the notes of a chord played in successsion to one another, rather than simultaneously or in short:a broken chord.

2)The same shape of the one you learned in A, will work in any key provided you move your fingers to the proper frets.

3) This site will give you the shape for arpeggios for minor and major scales so try here http://www.guitarstuff.com/lessons/lessons.html and here
to learn the scale itself http://looknohands.com/chordhouse/guitar/fr_rb_main.html?plyr=R,bass=bottom,info=Scales,root=0,name=0,tune=EADGBE,disp=in

4)Yes there is more than one way to play an arpeggio for a scale check out the first site listed above, it'll give you five arpeggios for the same scale.

now i will step a side and let everyone on the forum answer your question 100 times better than i did.

peace out-jake
