I've been going back over some of my older material, and I have to amend my list as follows:

 • Pete Townsend
 • Jimmy Page
 • Mark Farner
 • Leslie West
 • Albert King

It's funny how some guitarists that I really admire have very little effect on how I actually play, and others stand out clearly without me recognizing them.

These guys are better than everyone else. You might think that they are overrated, but they heavily influenced me. Joe Satriani ,Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Yngwie Malmsteen, and John Petrucci.

Jimmy Page
Jimi Hendrix
George Harrison & John Lennon
Keith Richards & Ron Wood
John Fogerty
Pete Townsend
Robbie Krieger
Tony Iommi
Jerry Cantrell
Jack White
Angus & Malcom Young

:) it could be, but i just enjoy the music...im usually quick to judge bands, but i have stuck with system and i have liked them constantly alot...i also find alot of the music i write to "have the same feel" of a soad song...but there are plenty of other armenians in rock i dont listen to (Apex Theory(liked them for a while), and the guitarist of Dream Theature is Armenian (never bothered getting into them)...........Soad is closest thing to "pop" i listen to, everything else is black or extreme (slayer, kreator, etc.)

wow, i am completely wrong...the armenian i was referring to was not a guitarist, but a keyboardist. former member of dream theater. Derek Shirinian

heres a link about him
