What type of Flamenco do I play?
I dunno, traditional I guess. What other types are there?
I've been practicing the Solea, Bulerias, and Rhumba forms. There's one piece I do that's a Tango.Starting to get pretty decent at it, don't think I'll be ready to accompany any Dancers any time soon though. Starting to get the hang of quintuplet tremolo picking, alzapuas' are a pain though. I can do them with P I, but all P is tough.

Flamenco hard compared to other guitar music?

Yeah, Flamenco has some tough qualities about it, but it is more in the compas and aire then in the harmonic or melodic structure. Learning to become a good jazz guitarist was a lot of hard work. I think to become a world class classical guitarist would also be a lot of work. Fortunately I'm very tenacious, and will sit down and practice something for 5 hrs. until I get it right.

Any info. you could offer would be cool and appr.:)
