Heh, heh....

I've seen that little dude before. Anyone know who he is, where I can get a larger pic of him or how to acquire the real thing?
... and that's all I have to say about that.

I'm serious about this - does anyone know who or what this is, and how to buy one? Or at least get a larger picture of him?
... and that's all I have to say about that.

Kittens are cool. I used to have loads but we had to give them away. I've seen that pic before. Its very strange.
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.
