i just had my first performance for a little dorm talent show. i put a dorm group together and we played Iced Earth's Melancholy. then my friend and i did an acoustic improv. altough i messed up the solo lightly, no one seemed to notice. other than that we played great and got some great applauses. one girl even came up to me afterward and i was just amazing.

before i had never been so excited and scared at the same time in my life. i barely ate anything all day for fear that i was goingto throw up. but afterward i definately knew what Steve Vai meant when he said that after his first performance he was striking poses. i definately had a strut to my walk.

anyway i hope this will be the first of many performances to come

on a related note, i am a golden god :D
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.
