I need to be learning chords but i dont know where to start. Where can i find a list of every chord written out with thier names?

A Song using chords i need to learn would be easier that way it wont get to tedeous and boring.

Watch out for the books that state 10,000 guitar voicings, for you will find 9,500 are impractical.

a lot of chords keep the same shape, but u just move up or down the neck, so once you know one, you actually know about twelve.

LOL, same here... but I'm getting interested in more complex shapes, its bloody annoying to get used to.

If you don't know where to start, I would suggest that you simply begin with A, B, C, D, E, F and G. Most songs are acctually based upon those chords..

is perhaps the easiest way of understanding where on the neck you can play the chords and also makes you understand that there really are A LOT of chords.
