You can't generalize 2,3,4,5,6 or string sweeping ... Some 3 string sweeps with a fast small piece of a scale on the first or the last string can be realy tough to learn ... But generally , a basic 3 string sweep should be easier than a basic 6 string sweep , specialy for the fretting hand.
