I thought D was major in A Harmonic minor because I remembered reading something somewhere about the 1, 4 and 5 notes of any given scale are going to be major chords; but after you wrote it out it clearly doesn't work out to be major. I'm starting to grasp some of this theory stuff... it's a lot to know isn't it? Did you learn it all on your own or did you take lessons or anything?
