I found that 'Fly Away' (Lenny Kravitz) was a real easy song to learn, all it is is the same 5 bar chords over and over again. You could also try 'You Shook Me All Night Long'(AC/DC). I hope that helps.

Fly away is a good place to start, also try "Wild Thing", "When I Come Around" and "Smells Like Teen Spirit"

Maybe im wrong but wasn't When I come Around, Smells Like Teen Spirit, and Fly away are all power chords? Well then again bar chords are just power chords with 3 more notes...
Is it just me or does life suck? Maybe I suck and it just life? We shall never know...

Try playin' "Louie, Louie" in E, then in F, then in G, then in A, then in C, and so on....

Helps you figure out your chord placement all over the neck...

Key of E => (E, A, B)
Key of F => (F, Bb, C)
Key of G => (G, C, D)
Key of A => (A, D, E)
Key of C => (C, F, G)

and so on...up the neck...

when i come around is the only song that i have ever brought the sheet music to and it list's the chords ask barre chords and not power chords, anyway I think that it's a good song to start on.

Also try "Creep" by radiohead
