I have to confess that I have not used Guitar Pro much. I know! As long as I have been trying to learn you would think I had. I just took a face to face lesson (Facebook) with the guy at that other forum. And then he sent me some GP files to work. They are newest version of GP and it has actually been two, at least, version upgrades since I used GP!!!!! The newest version is 8, I believe, and that's what the files were. I think I had version 6, I'm embarrassed to say.
I'm using the looping function with the section slowed down and what a reminder of how helpful a learning tool Guitar Pro is. And what I have missed out not using it.
