Hi!

I'm a 63 year old kid from Ottawa Canada and 2023 is the year I finaly decided to learn to play the guitar.

I played drums pretty much all my life and was always surrounded by guitar players but I never was really interested. I developped a serious Tinitus problem in my left ear and can't play drums anymore so I needed to find an instrument that has a better volume control and would be fun to play alone.

Someone told me about Guitar tricks. At first I was a bit sceptic about online courses but I find that the teachers here are just amazing and fun to learn from.

So here I am.

Looking forward to some inspiring conversations here :-)

Hello! It's never too late to embark on a musical journey, and I applaud your decision to pick up the guitar. It's fantastic that you're exploring new avenues and adapting to your circumstances. Guitar Tricks is indeed a great platform, and online courses can provide a flexible and enjoyable way to learn at your own pace.
