I don't know how to describe it, but I'm wondering how to get that vintage country slide sound? I'm having a hard time describing it, but it can be heard in the chorus of Stand By Your Man.

That's a pedal steel guitar.

You can approximate it on an electric guitar with a clean tone, lots of reverb & of a metal slide!  Play A shaped triads on the D-G-B strings.  You can also retune to an open chord.  Anders shows how to play with a slide in the Blues course.

Anders also does a great job of showing how to mimic pedal steel on electric guitar in the Country course.

Any course of action on this, I'm having a relative issue. I tried to change things and this is what happened.

It sounds like you're referring to the distinctive and classic slide guitar sound often associated with vintage country music, particularly in songs like "Stand By Your Man." The characteristic twang and emotive slides contribute to the iconic country sound of that era.
