Been playing for about 6 months using books from the library and YouTube videos. I feel like I am not progressing so I figured maybe it was time to check out some real online lessons. Looking forward to learning guitar with you all!

Welcome! Still a newbie myself, but I will probably always think of myself that way. I think you'll find the structure on Guitar Tricks will really help your progress and end up making the You Tube videos even more useful.

So far I've just started with the fundamentals videos and I am working my way through until I get to something I haven't learned yet. So far so good.

Sounds like a good plan

The problem with YouTube videos is they can be too random and/or incorrect.

Things are a lot more organised around here, although you may find yourself spoilt for choice after a while, and might need to take a few days deciding where to go next

I wish this forum had a "block user" feature. Possibly I'm not the only one......
