Hello,

First of all I'm happy guitartricks is still around. I randomly thought of a user on here I used to interact with and have been down the rabbit hole of reading old forum posts for the past hour, heaped with nostalgia and broken photo links to servers that don't exist anymore!

It was then I noticed that my join date happened to be exactly 20 years ago and I just couldn't let a coincidence like that go unheralded.

This site was a daily part of my life from around 2002-2008 and I'll always have a spot in my heart for the way discourse between internet strangers with a common interest took place long before "social media" crept into our lexicon.

If anyone is reading this that was on the site back in those days I mentioned above, I'm glad your still around and kicking! And for everyone else, hello it's great to meet you!

Hi Leedogg.

Wow, 20 years ! I wish I'd known GT existed back then... Happy 20th anniversary then !

But most importantly, do you still play the guitar ?

The only real failure is the failure to try.

And I thought I was an old timer...

Welcome back.

Thanks! And yes, I sure do. Although I was "on hiatus" a bit when my kids were young. They're getting to be school-aged now so I've been able to pick it back up more. I made a new years resolution to play for a half hour every day and have so far stuck with it.

Thanks! Where have the years gone? Looks like you've been around for quite a while too!
