[br]Lots of losses recently.
Don Wilson was a surf guitar pioneer and played rythm for the Ventures. I learned this morning that, aside from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Ventures received the Order of the Rising Sun from the government of Japan? - not exactly a common accolade for a rock and roll band. Or so I assume.
You can learn a few songs by The Ventures right here on Guitar Tricks. Certainly listening to the opening bars of "Walk Don't Run" makes me was to give it a shot some day.
