Hey,
I'm Dirk, 28 + 30 years of life experience, native Dutch speaking.
30 years ago I bought myself a beautiful classical guitar (Aria) with a superb smooth sound and I thought that I could learn to play classical guitar on the fly. Nope, after a few months, I had a beautiful but useless guitar standing in the corner of my living room, gathering dust.
I've had not done any research, thinking that a classical guitar would open the world of pop and rock for me and that I had to pass a classical tutorial before starting to learn the modern stuff.
Today, I know better, but I'm still an Absolute Beginner (R.I.P. David).
So I bought myself some weeks ago an electric-accoustic Mayson Topaz and subscribed to GuitarTricks. I was surprised by the content, UX and broad range of tutorials, lessons, etc... Really well done!
After a few lessons, I'm confident that this is the guitar place to be.
30 years ago, I was interested, now I'm addicted
