Obviously, a beginner. 2 months in. Thought for awhile that mere stretching for the C major chord wouldn't happen, but now it has! Cool. But training my ring finger to independently move from the A Minor to the C Major all by itself while the others stay put? OMG! Seems impossible. Tell me I'll do it. Been working on a Travis Picking sequence that has me doing that move and I have been stuck for a week.

[p]You'll do it. :)[br][br]It might help to isolate & drill just that change for a while. Don't add anything else to the task.

Form C major, strum once.

Form A minor, strum once.

Repeat.

You don't even have to strum. But it can help to hear if you are getting it solidly. Hope that helps! Keep practicing!

Thanks. Appreciate the encouragement. Been trying that and will continue. First and second fingers want to slide along. I'll get it.
