I have read numerous times that humbuckers give your guitar a "meatier" sound. What defines "Meatier"?

I think they mean fatter , thicker ... opposite of the thin sound you'd get from a single coil.

This means vegetarians should stay with single coils ! :p

The bridge humbucker I have just thickens your overall tone and gives it a much deeper sound, which is the definition of 'meatier' in this case.
