Hi everyone,

Should I always change chords in the same way I was taught to? Like for A to D, Lisa says to use your ring finger to slide, and then add the two other fingers. But is there a problem if I add my index finger first, and do the ring last?

I know that there were four main strategies, bass note first, shared note, shared fret, and slide. So if I use shared fret instead of slide, is that a problem?

Thanks!

Newbie opinion here (may be wrong lol)

If you manage to make the change on time (on rythm) i doesnt really matters how you do it, there is not right or wrong

The strategies are meant to make it easier and more precise but after many practices you just think of the shape and do it, dont think on each fingers... they kinda learn their way in

Yeah that's what I was thinking too, as long as it's not some really awkward move or something much more complicated, since that can add tine.
