Please help me get Cowgirl Jane and Ed's Chinese out of my head! Desperate. In an effort to relieve this 24/7 repeat track, I've learned Simple Man, Ode to Joy, and, for the sake of irony, I've learned I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow. I've practiced chord changes with the metronome, Fretboard trainer, flashcards, Skeeter and Annie (as well as all the other Fundamentals 1 songs), strumming alternatives, scales, picking, and excessive drinking. Unfortunately, it still all comes back to Cowgirl Jane and Ed's Chinese.

Any recommendations? I am considering a lawsuit for mental anguish, but I'm sort of hoping it doesn't come to that. Thanks.

Apart from the excessive drinking, it sounds like Cowgirl Jane and Ed's Chinese has been good for you! Another week or two and you'll be a virtuoso.

I have Tinitus to, the day it started I was so down that I wanted to sell all my music gear. In the meanwhile ( 10 years later ) I don't even notice it anymore and start to worrie I might be dead. Playing music and even in a rock band helped me a lot to get through it and eventually even got used to it. The specialist back in the days told me that it will stay at the same level, it will never get more loud so for me it's oke since there is no cure for it.
