William, I couldn't agree more. I find Karaoke Version backing tracks very helpful in my learning songs. And I never expected to find myself uttering verbage complimentary of something with "karoke" in the name.

But then I took it even further. I was learning Wonderful Tonight for my weekly jam session with two other guitarists. I took different versions of the song to the jam. I was playing solo, other guys were playing different guitar parts and one guy was doing the vocal. And we were switching guitar parts during the jam. So I took different versions, with and without those tracks.

All the different tracks for one cost of $2.99.

It is a very helpful, fun learning tool and I am surprised it isn't discussed more on the guitar forums. I think others will find it as such and will appreciate your bringing it to their attention.
