Not meaning to sound abrupt, but the issue seems to be expectations, dare I even say attitude. This is not easy, and there is so much to learn. There are tremendous amounts of frustrations to overcome. It may make your journey easier if you take enjoyment in just learning something new. For me personally I get terribly frustrated at my own progress while at the same time being entirely enthusiastic when I learn even the simplest lick or chord or bit of theory.

I hope you get past your current state and settle in for the long haul.
