Hi

I am really enjoying the learning program, at the moment I am learning to play electric guitar only because i saw a cheap one on line to try , if I did not get on with it i have lost nothing really, but I am really enjoying it, problem is I,m left handed and the string are a little bit close evan though I am on my tips they still touch the other strings, do buy a different guitar eg electric acoustic left hand big cost and very few around or change hands and buy right hand .

I have only learnt simple C,G,A,E chords so not got very far into it .

p.s never played a guitar till now and I am retired but love learning new things.

thanks

Hi

I am left handed I learnt about 3 chords on my mates right handed guitar in the 60s then i brought a right handed accoustic and turned the strings round no intonnation.

Gave up iin the 70s. When I retired decided to trie again went to a big guitar store and tried various left handed guitars found one or two that i liked and went on line to see if I could find any used ones found plenty,

Now I have 4 left handed guitars that i love.

ps there are plenty of left handed chord books around as well.

hope this helps.

keep trying

Barry
