Hope you do'nt mind if i chime in quickly but i only wanted to comment that i have two strats. One is new MIM roadhouse deluxe noiseless, that has in addition a volume knob with a push button center for P90ish tones.The other is a vintage modified Squier with what they call duncan designed that is sss also. I'll have to say that i pick up the cheap strat just as much as the noiseless one mainly because i do love tone of that guitar. As always i love them both just for different reasons. I will also add that probably at some point i am probably going to add a CV Tele either the mahogany Thinline or the Pine solid. I think the CV's or the vintage mods are good bang for the buck. All this from a guitar/music lover with minimal experience.... Cheers
