I need an advice. I have finally decided to get my first Strat, ever. Been playing for about 3 and a half years steadily now, and I’m an avid Blues/Rock enthusiast/player. I’ve been doing some research lately, and I’m torn between the American Professional and the American Elite. I’m concerned about the tone on the Elite since the pick-ups are noiseless, but I’m more concerned about the neck profile on both, especially on Professional – been playing Schecter thin-C neck all the time. What do you recommend? Or maybe suggest something else that might fit better with my modest skills, thus far?

An important note: I cannot, sadly, go to a shop and try either one because where I live there’s only one shop that sells MIM standards – and I didn’t like the neck profile on it.

So, I’m going to ship one without trying it.
