If you believe one news outlet over another..........Tom Petty has passed but the other claims he's 'clinging to life but brain dead'. Either way.............this news is terible and Tom was a hero of mine who showed us how to formulate great rock tunes without a lot of fanfare or effects..........just basic great Rock & Roll!!
