Hi....polytones are jazz amps, pretty much. they're extremely good at it, but i'd never bring my minibrute to a rock gig--the sounds just ain't in there. the cube is more versatile. my final take on the cube is that it doesn't do anything perfectly, but it does pretty much everything more than adequately.
