Does anyone know alot about Jason Becker, I downloaded him playing a Caprice and it sounded awesome. I need to know where I could get tab for his songs and maybe some tab for Nicolo Paganini.

My favorite types of music are:
Blues
Jazz
Classical
Shred (played with emotion Satch with Love thing)
Rap (yes I like rap not Juvenile or Trick Daddy but Eminem actual lyriscts)
Boy Bands (well, only one) that would be Boys II Men damn they were good. What happened to them?

look in www.guitartabs.cc , i'm sure they have some stuff there. i think boyz 2 men have a new album coming out. i'm like you i'll stick to the early 90's boy bands only 2 i can listen to is all 4 one and BTM. i like eminem also, i can't listen to rappers who make any sense or don't have a point they're trying to make in a song. my point is sipping on some syzurp, wtf is that.

And that's the bottomline............

Basically he sounds a LOT like Yngwie Malmsteen.

Good guitarist, but doesn't really have a style that some one else hasn't already done.

When attempting the impossible, you achieve the best possible

Jason Becker was a spectacular guitarist. If you haven't heard what he could do with a guitar, you're missing out. He was very well rounded, playing with Cacophony, the David Lee Roth band, and then on his own. His classical song that he wrote for his mother, "Air", is a masterpiece in technical skill and contrapuntal writing. I'm as big a fan of Malmsteen, Vai, Satriani, and Gilbert as any one else, but if Jason's talents had lasted he truly would be one of the best guitarists ever. Sadly, he developed Lou Gerhig's disease, and can no longer play. I know that his father and some of his closest friends went through the archives and pieced together an album for fundraising purposes. Really, if you haven't checked out Jason Becker, do so now. You'll thank me later.
