So we've had screaming blues, now it's time for some swampy blues :).

My interesting discovery with this jam was switching between major and minor pentatonics. In the past, I've found one or the other works best and I'll stick with it for the duration. Here, both worked. Perhaps my ears are now used to both sounds, maybe I know more of what I'm doing, who knows! It almost makes it sound like there are 2 different guitar players playing on the track, which helps break up some monotony over 5 minutes of blues. The major portions sound refined and polite in contrast to the narly and kinda nasty sounding minor portions.

So after a bit of a slump, I feel energized again and have myself a new strategy to experiment with. This was fun!

I recorded this with my 11R and my PRS CE24 with the bridge humbucker engaged.

Check it out...
