You should continue learning skills & ideas. And at the same time learn songs!

1. Pick a style course to continue the core learning system. Pick Rock, Blues or Country. Those will pick up where GF left off & show you the next level of skills & ideas to help you continue to improve.

2. Learn songs! Find some songs that are at your current skill level & find some that are slightly above it so you've got a challenge to work on also.

Finally, I have a series of tutorials aimed directly at learning to improvise over any progression.

But keep in mind that ultimately the best way to learn to jam along with other musicians is learn & play lots of songs. Learning & playing songs is the end goal after all. That's the form in which we play music! Learning & playing songs gives you a great foundation of many different chord progressions, rhythms, strumming & picking patterns & helps you practice playing in time with a band.

Best of success!
