I am trying to recreate some specific tones, MOLLY HATCHET- DREAMS I'LL NEVER SEE @ 2min 52sec, ZEPPELIN-10 YRS GONE @35 sec mark, ALLMAN BROS solo tones from JESSICCA & BLUE SKY, GARY MOORE, PARISIENNE WALKWAYS & STILL GOT THE BLUES FOR YOU.
I have a 2016 GIBSON STD LP, MARSHALL DSL 15C tube amp, BOSS DS1 and an MXR EQ.
What suggestions does anyone have as far as what pedals i should be thinking about?
i am guessing a tube screamer, a chorus, phase, but i don't know much about this subject.
thanks for the help

Hey, Joel! Most of this info is available on the web.

That's the first solo. Sounds like a Gibson using the neck pickup with a little gain (not more than 50% on the amp) & delay or reverb. There might be a Tube Screamer but the guitar volume is turned down lower at first. Because you can hear later in the solo it has a bit more bite when he turns the volume up.

That's multiple guitars. There's the clean one that starts the song along with at least one with the gain higher & a fuzz tone or distortion box & probably the bridge pickup for bite.

Lots of in depth info here!

ALLMAN BROS solo tones from JESSICCA & BLUE SKY,

Sounds to me like a Gibson with both pickups on straight into a farily clean tube amp. Set your Marshall for 25% gain, turn the volume down a bit on your guitar.

We have that one right here at GT!

[QUOTE=joelh4] GARY MOORE, PARISIENNE WALKWAYS & STILL GOT THE BLUES FOR YOU.

Gibson, neck pickup for solos, tube screamer, Marshall gain at 75%.
