I currently own an Affinity Tele from the starter pack and it's a great guitar. The affinitys that come in the player packs are actually a bit better quality than the ones they sell on their own as the pack Teles are a string through design and Indonesian made vs Chinese. I've had a few Indo' built Squiers and all have been great guitars about on par with my Mexican built Fender Strat.

If I had one complaint about the Tele, it'd be that the neck pickup is a bit weak, but it's good enough for my current playing abilities and can be easily upgraded down the road for relatively cheap. The bridge pickup has the typical pleasant twang expected of a Tele
