Now I know that most of the jokes (flames) on this board are just everyone kidding around. That's cool, I do it too. But if you are just kidding let everyone know so it doesn't turn into another unecessary argument. Just postin' this before everyone starts pissin' each other off.

I agree with you totally badhorsie. Just out of curiousity, what type of guitar do you play?

Well, I used to play an Aria Pro. After playing the hell out of that guitar for five years I decided to buy a seven string S-Series guitar w/ flame maple top. I love it so much. But unlike many other guitarists I usually play it as I would a six string. Only about 2% of my playing is done on the low B string. Although there is many other tunings I would like to explore with my seven string.

I've never tried a 7 string. I stick to traditional 6 and 12 string guitars. I don't see why a 7th string would be necessary.

7 strings are for trendy preppy bastards!!!!.. Do not try to adjust your screen in any way this is just a joke. I repeat just a joke. Now back to your original board. But really, I think I might get a 7 string here soon one of the Ibanez versions. That or a Fernades
Vertego X.. Most likely the X..

It's not necessary at all. But then again neither is playing the guitar, but I'm not quittin'. It just gives you more options, that's how I look at it.

Ibanez IS the best right now for seven strings.
