I tried taking lessons about thirty five years ago, and was so bad my instructor left the state. Now I'm retired (thanks USAF), and have the time and determination to make a go of this. After looking at several other teaching sites, I found GT online, saw one of Lisa's lessons and immediately signed up. Now I'm about half through GT fundamentals 1 and REALLY enjoying Lisa's slow, patient, friendly approach. I've even got a friend interested in learning with me.
